An accountability partner or group is an incredible tool to use in deliberate action. Commit to a better version of your business.
How can it help you?
It provides a way for you to set a focus, theme or goal for the week. Remember what a smart goal stands for: specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and timely
It allows you to see if you are moving forward on your set focus/goals, or maintaining the status quo.
It becomes a metric for you to measure growth against.
What you need to do?
You need to ensure you are using a tracking system, anything from Trello to Google sheets. If you cannot measure it week by week (or month by month) it will lose impact.
You need to be clear before each session on what you are wanting to achieve with a specific outcome BEFORE you get into the meeting. What specific actions or steps will you be taking to achieve your overall goal.
You need to set these sessions as a priority. If you are complacent, your accountability partners will pick up on it too, and will allow a comfort to set in.
You need to prioritise action to achieve these goals set each week.
It is not only about you, but your accountability partners as well. “Partnership” is just that – commitment between 2 or more parties.
