Student startup Africanize secures R50k funding with an affordable food delivery app

About Africanize:

Africanize supports small-scale food entrepreneurs through content promotion and delivery support. Focusing on township and urban areas, we work with entrepreneurs getting products in and out of the township to urban areas and also vice versa.

To our end-user customers, we are a food delivery service that is accessible across any city we operate in and we bring them authentic foods which they would normally have no access to.

Founders:

Gcina Fresh Ntsonga, Siba Nombebe, Siphe Ntlemeza, Khaya Dlova

What they do:

We are building a platform that allows food entrepreneurs who make a living selling food a viable business through content promotion and delivery support.

For our end-users, we are creating a food delivery platform that is not bounded by distance or excludes certain areas
