About Ask Wendy
5 years ago I was retrenched from my position as PA to an Executive Head of Human Resources, after being an Exec PA Internationally for around 20 years in SA and the UK. I felt that I really wanted to run my own business – but how could little old me – do that? I sat and thought about it and wrote down what I felt my strengths were …. I came up with networking, learning new software, being innovative, the ability to work on my own and the drive to want to work around my son’s school times so that I could make a more positive impact in his life. Then it hit me – Ask Wendy ! Everybody always asked me, when they were looking for information on How to do things or Where to find things. So why couldn’t I do that – for myself … from home ? Well I could – and I did just that.

As an added part of the day – I will give you an overview of Canva and how to use it to set up your advertising and branding, WordPress and how to set up your own website and Slack an amazing communication tool you can use to keep track of tasks and projects with your clients. (Please note – this will be an overview of these – spending approximately 1 hour on each package with a live demonstration of using them and time for Q&As – it is not an in-depth course or accreditation on these packages).

Due to an amazing response – I am running this workshop in Cape Town on two dates (and on a Saturday). This is so that those of you who are still working in a corporate environment will not need to take time off to attend :

Saturday 2nd November : 10am to 4pm
Saturday 9th November : 10am to 4pm

We will be working in the AMAZING Akro Capital co-working space in the CBD. (Parking is free on a Saturday !). You can visit their website to view the space at AKRO CAPITAL.

If you pay a deposit of R500.00 by the 15th of October, your booking will be secured – but full payment must be received by the 20th of October.
